Andrea Everman's main focus is shadow puppetry and her work combines traditional paper cutting, ink drawing and laser cutting. Recent shadow puppetry projects have included the production of “Elephant and the Whale” with Redmoon Theater, "The Tempest, an Intimate Feast" with Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and "Swan Lake" with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Andrea works mainly from her studio in Pilsen where she uses a lasercutter to create parts for her puppets and models. She is excited to be a 2013 recipient of the Ragdale 3Arts Residency Fellowship for theater.
