Lisa’s current photographic series depicts the lives of her father, sister, and two brothers as they take on the burden of her mother’s deteriorating mental state. Her photographs show the complexity of family, and explode the myth of domestic bliss. Lindvay received a Master of Fine Arts in photography from Columbia College Chicago and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She has exhibited nationally at the National Portrait Gallery at Smithsonian Institution, the Hyde Park Art Center, and Erie Art Museum and internationally at the Turner Contemporary in England. Her work is included in the Museum of Contemporary Photography’s Permanent collection, as well as several private collections.
