Kellie Romany is an abstract, non-representational, figurative painter interested in bodily representation, materiality, and the history of the painting process. She received a Masters of Fine Arts in painting from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2011 and a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2008. Kellie has exhibited both nationally and internationally, including at High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Sullivan Galleries in Chicago, Parade Ground Gallery in New York, Alice Yard in Trinidad and Tobago, Amel Bourouina Gallery in Berlin, Germany, and Minninger Gallery in Cologne, Germany.
